Thrifty Thursday: Free, Free, Free ~ Disney Cartoons, Parade, Fireworks and Playgrounds!

If you have been touring the resorts and your munchkins are too tired to take another step, you do not have to stop the touring adventure.  It’s time for a cartoon break!  Disney resorts have setup televisions in the lobbies playing Disney Cartoons!  This is entirely a free activity for all lobby guests, not just registered resort guests.  Since you are frugal mouseketeers, I know you have your backpack snacks and drinks tucked away to refresh yours and the little feet and tummies!  Read more

A Visit to Key West…Disney’s Old Key West Resort

 This month’s resort destination is Old Key West Resort which was the first Disney Vacation Club resort and brings the feel of south Florida right to Walt Disney World.  Old Key West (OKW) is a rather large resort with buildings spread out including some which are quite a distance from the Hospitality House where the gift shop, restaurants, and front desk are located.  Luckily, the resort does run internal shuttle buses, and golf cart shuttles to help bring guests and their suitcases from the Magical Express.  Read more

Thrifty Thursday: FREE Activities at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground

I know hitting the parks is the main goal when vacationing at Walt Disney World (WDW), but what about the days you aren’t going to the parks?
