A great reason to stay at Walt Disney World Resorts is the ability to leave the “real” world behind and let others do the “driving!” Not everyone enjoys this, but I see Disney Transportation as a ride in itself! Sure, it isn’t as exciting and doesn’t come with its own entertaining queue, but it does allow you to “chill” out between parks and not worry if you are going the right way to your next destination! On a recent trip I had so much fun taking selfies on each of our rides from park to park! Read more

Tuesday Disney Tips: Getting Around at Walt Disney World
People generally like to know where they are going, how they will get there and how long their journey will take. Planning your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is no exception. With all Disney has to offer, there are so many different choices of where you will stay, play, and dine that you can be doing something different from every other visitor during each day of your trip. When planning a Walt Disney World itinerary, one of the most confusing topics seems to be how we will get around the resort area in the fastest, most efficient way possible.
One of the main things to remember is that Walt Disney World is a very large complex, 47 square miles to be exact. Used in combination with the WDW Travel Times, a listing I made of the approximate time it takes to get from each resort to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Downtown Disney, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, you should be able to figure out the approximate time to get from your starting point to your destination. In my times list, I have listed the quickest method to travel, whether bus, monorail or boat. Using the map and the list of travel times, let’s check out some scenarios:
