Many resorts offer such beautiful holiday displays that they’re worth a visit – in fact, one of our favorite things to do during the holidays is to take a morning or afternoon away from the parks to visit the resorts and see their gorgeous Christmas decorations. One of the best things about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the parade, and one of the highlights of the parade are the marching wooden soldiers! While this parade is only available to see at the Christmas Party through mid-December, if you will be visiting Walt Disney World after the last party is held, you can catch the parade…and the soldiers….each afternoon at Magic Kingdom, through December 30. We visited Walt Disney World this year the first week of November. Turned out to be the best week of the year, well at least in our opinion! We had some friends go the following week and they talked about how long all the lines were, even the Fast Pass Line. They said the crowds seems so much higher then other weeks they had gone.
