Dining at Walt Disney World: ‘Til Dining Plan Do Us Part

I have always been a skeptic of the Disney Dining Plan that is offered to resort guests. My wife and I don’t have children so when we go to the parks we don’t “need” to eat on a schedule. We would always pack food to eat in the room for breakfast and if we got hungry during the day we would stop. Also, the thought of having to keep track of credits, where you eat, etc seemed like more of a hassle to me. Read more

Dining at Walt Disney World: New Offerings at Downtown Disney

With the ongoing construction of “Disney Springs”, Downtown Disney is beginning to give guests newer and faster dining options, adding more walk-up options for you to feast on the go.

Being a chef I am a huge fan of food trucks. These restaurants on wheels give young chefs a chance to branch out and be creative without being tied down to one location. For diners it gives them an opportunity to sample many different things quickly and cheaply. This trend in food service has made it’s way to Downtown Disney.
