 I am often asked how much a trip to Walt Disney trip is going to cost. The answers can vary so it is impossible to give a definite response. The one thing I always stress is, save for the trip and pay as you go. This will make your trip so much more relaxing knowing you won’t have that huge vacation bill hanging over your head when you return. Purchasing passes a few at a time, paying on the hotel in payments and purchasing snacks or those hidden souvenirs for little ones a few at a time helps spread the expense out. When I pay for something or pick something up, it makes me even more excited knowing I am that much closer to my Walt Disney World vacation. Read more

The 180 Day Disney Planning Withdrawal

Hotel Reservations…Check, Dining Reservations…Check, Waiting patiently for September…NOT!!

Now comes the hard part…with very little left to do after months of planning…my husband Henry and I don’t know what to do with ourselves!!  After hours upon hours of deciding where to stay, where to eat, which parks have extra magic hours on what days, what times
the parades and shows start, making daily schedules to ensure we get as much in each day as we can…it almost becomes a full time job!!  We basically eat, sleep and breath Disney for months….and then 180 days out…we make our dining reservations and BOOM….we’re

Tuesday Disney Tips: Getting Around at Walt Disney World

People generally like to know where they are going, how they will get there and how long their journey will take. Planning your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is no exception. With all Disney has to offer, there are so many different choices of where you will stay, play, and dine that you can be doing something different from every other visitor during each day of your trip. When planning a Walt Disney World itinerary, one of the most confusing topics seems to be how we will get around the resort area in the fastest, most efficient way possible.

One of the main things to remember is that Walt Disney World is a very large complex, 47 square miles to be exact. You can understand that it would take a little time to get from any point A to point B in the resort area. In addition to travel time, you must allow for waiting for the mode of transportation as well as allowing for getting to destinations without direct connections.
