As I have discovered over the years, there is no right or wrong age to take children. I have taken them as young a 2 and as old as 70+. In my eyes, we are all children once we get to Walt Disney world! On one trip we took my 2, 4, 5 year old grandchildren and my 7 year old son. We had so much fun! My list of must-dos at the Magic Kingdom is incredibly long, and I’m sure that I’m not the only one. Perhaps more than any other park, the Magic Kingdom needs a solid plan, particularly if you only have one day (I would recommend more than one, if you can). Like the other parks, you have a huge advantage if you arrive by rope drop to accomplish busy rides in that first hour. As you are reading this, we are driving towards Orlando and our Disney World vacation!! EEEEKKK!!!! We made a stop in Lake Charles, LA our first night because we both had to work all day (by the way I got NOTHING accomplished…way too excited) and then spent the last two nights in Panama City Beach, FL having some fun in the sun and now we are heading to Orlando!! It’s getting closer….the excitement is building….we’ve waited as long as we can….the suitcases are coming out!!! As soon as we put that first item in our suitcase, it will begin to seem real that we are actually going to Disney World….SOON!!! YAY!!! We all have our trips paid off as of last week (45 days out) and everyone is getting antsy to get this show on the road!!
