Other than Halloween at Disney World, very few things in life are as wonderful as Christmas in Disney World. I will even relent and say for many families, the holiday season in the World is probably the absolute most magical experience. In a place where the air is already filled with magic and happiness, and wonderful things happen all the time, adding Christmas to it just puts it over the top. There are countless fabulous things to do during the holidays in the World to give you the warmth in your heart, but the centerpiece for many joyful celebrations is the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and within that, is the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. The parades of Disney World are fairly legendary as it is, and there is something truly spectacular about the special holiday parade. Full of sparkles, scents, and snow, you can’t help but get a little jolly watching this parade. Read more
One of the many things we discovered on our recent Walt Disney World trip were the new Christmas decorations at Hollywood Studios. Whimsical and very retro, they add a delightful touch of “old Hollywood” to this park. And while they couldn’t be more different from the much-missed Osborne Lights, to be honest, they totally “fit” Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I just loved them! Read more
Each year during the holiday season, Walt Disney World’s on-site resort hotels celebrate with their own beautiful Christmas decorations. Many resorts offer such beautiful holiday displays that they’re worth a visit – in fact, one of our favorite things to do during the holidays is to take a morning or afternoon away from the parks to visit the resorts and see their gorgeous Christmas decorations.
