Hello there Mouse Fans!! Summer is in full swing at Disney World and there are so many things to do, it’s hard to decide what to pick first! Of course one of the most exciting things going on is the new “Frozen” Summer Fun Live at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!! Through September 1st, you can see Anna & Elsa as they ride in on their horse drawn sleigh at 11:00 a.m. during the Royal Welcome!
Next you can attend a “Frozen” Sing-Along Celebration…For The First Time In Forever…a 20 minute show that is available several times throughout the day inside the park’s Premiere Theater…♫Let it go, Let it go…Do you wanna build a snowman…♫ You can EVEN go ice skating at Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post & Frozen Funland as well as marvel at ice carvings of your favorite “Frozen” characters!! And there’s STILL MORE…you can attend the Coolest Summer Ever Dance Party from 5:30 – 9:30 each evening with a live band playing lots of great music as well as some tunes you will recognize from the movie! Then finish the evening off with a BANG during the “Frozen” Fireworks spectacular above Hollywood Blvd!! Hollywood Studios is definitely the place to be for “Frozen” fans!!
Another fun event coming to Hollywood Studios next month is “Villains Unleashed”!! On August 23rd, over 50 of your favorite Disney villains will invade Hollywood Studios from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.!! With meet and greets, shows, makeovers, dance parties and fireworks, this is sure to be an event NOT to be missed!! Tickets are $67 for adults and $62 for kids, plus tax. You may enter the park at 5 p.m. with your event ticket!! From Captain Hook to Cruella De Vil to Darth Vader…you are sure to meet the villain of your dreams walking the streets of Hollywood Studios!!
If you enjoy taking tours…Disney is now offering TWO NEW VIP TOUR EXPERIENCES!! One for families and one for all of you thrill seekers out there!! The Ultimate Day for Young Families is designed for families with kids under the age of 10. This 7 hour tour starts in the Magic Kingdom where you will get to ride and enjoy selected attractions such as Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mickey’s PhilharMagic and more! Next you will enjoy a table service lunch at the Whispering Canyon Café in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort…YUMMY! After your tummies are full, you will head over to Hollywood Studios and enjoy Disney Junior Live on Stage and then take a ride on Toy Story Mania! What fun!! And finally a journey to Animal Kingdom to see the Festival of the Lion King and experience the awesome animals on the Kilimanjaro Safari! What a perfect ending to a perfect day!!
The Ultimate Day of Thrills is also a 7 hour tour starting in the Magic Kingdom where you will ride the ever exciting Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain and more! Next you will head to lunch at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort and enjoy the delicious food at Whispering Canyon Café! I would suggest NOT overeating if I were you, as next you will go to Hollywood Studios and ride Rock n Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania and Star Tours!! You day isn’t over yet…you will finish up your Ultimate Day of Thrills on Expedition Everest and Dinosaur! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!! WOW…how exciting it that??
Both Tours are $299 plus tax per guest 3+ and you can make reservations up to 180 days in advance at 407-WDW-TOUR!! More added Magic to your already fun Disney Vacation!!
FYI …Operating hours and Extra Magic Hours have changed through the end of the year…so please check the calendars when planning your days at the park… I don’t want you to miss out on anything or plan something that won’t work out for your itinerary!!
