Welcome back to Mouse Morsels!! The Christmas season is in full swing at Disney World AND there have been TWO very special birthdays to celebrate…Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney himself!!! Because of Walt’s dream and his beloved Mouse…WE get to enjoy the magic and wonder of the Disney parks…so HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICKEY and WALT, we love you both!!
Speaking of special people …Santa Claus is at Disney World as well…stop by his Chalet in the Marketplace at Downtown Disney during the Festival of Seasons and let him know what is on your Christmas list this year! Santa will be available from noon – 10 p.m. through December 24th…then Santa GOOFY takes over from December 25th – 20th from 3 – 10 p.m. While you are enjoying the sights and sounds and shopping at Downtown Disney during this holiday season….don’t forget to try out the 4 new Food Trucks located between Cirque de Soleil and House of Blues…offering more quick service options for your dining convenience! YUMMY!!
You also won’t want to miss the Holidays around the World at Epcot!! Discover the holiday traditions around the globe as costumed performers share their holiday heritage through December 30th. From the United Kingdom’s Father Christmas, to New Mexico’s Los Tres Reyes Magos (The Three Kings), to La Befana the kind hearted Witch of Italy, to the Monkey King of China…enjoy hearing these delightful traditions and many more as you learn how the holidays are celebrated in their native countries.
