When your tummy is growling like a tiger, what better place to eat than Donald’s Dining Safari at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom? With your choice of a breakfast, lunch or dinner buffet along with meeting Safari Donald and his friends…you can’t go wrong!
Themed like a Harambe Marketplace and located in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom, you are sure to enjoy the delicious American and African food that is offered! The breakfast buffet has everything from cereal, pastries, waffles, eggs, bacon and sausage to bobotie quiche, rotisserie honey ham and yam casseroles and much more! Don’t forget to try the Jungle Juice – it is my favorite breakfast juice in all of Disney World!!
The lunch and dinner buffets have your traditional rotisserie chicken, carved top sirloin, pork loin with green beans, mashed potatoes or potato wedges as sides. Or you might want to experience tabbouileh, baba ghanoush, hummus or spicy African preserves. With luscious desserts such as banana-cinnamon bread with vanilla sauce, fruit cobbler and assorted pastries, you are sure to get your fill with the many delicious choices offered!
While you are eating, have your cameras and autograph books ready, as Safari Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Mickey, dressed in full Safari attire will come by your table to visit! They are adorable and so much fun to take pics with! They also invite the little ones to march around the restaurant with them adding to the magical experience!
Once you are stuffed and have your Disney Character fix, it’s time to go enjoy the wonders that Animal Kingdom has to offer! Tusker House will more than likely become one of your family favorites. It certainly is one of ours!
