Who doesn’t love a ride on a carrousel? If you are a fan, you won’t want to miss the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. This classic attraction in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom features 90 ornate horses just waiting for you to climb aboard. (There is also one very intricately carved chariot, if climbing on a horse is not your cup of tea.)
Every horse on the Prince Charming carrousel is unique and very beautifully designed with flowers, feathers, decorative shields and helmets. The only hard part will be choosing your trusty steed for the roughly 2-minute ride.
Among all the beautiful horses that you can choose, many Guests try to find Cinderella’s horse. How will you know if you found it? Legend has it that her horse is the one with the golden bow on its tail. (Of course this cannot be confirmed since Cinderella never actually rode a horse in the animated movie, but that’s a minor detail. Clearly if Cinderella did ride a horse, it would have to have a golden bow on it’s tail.)
The Prince Charming Regal Carrousel is suitable for all ages, all heights and can be enjoyed by the young and the young-at-heart. Each horse does rise up and back down again, so enjoy the gentle ride that gives you a different look at the back of Cinderella’s castle (along with a variety of other things in the Fantasyland courtyard that you may have easily walked by and missed). Note that while this is generally a very popular ride, with 90 horses, it also is usually not a very long wait.
The Prince Charming Regal Carrousel is a true Walt Disney World classic and is a must do for all ages!

Debbie and her husband live in Chattanooga, TN. They both are huge Disney fans and try to visit the most Magical Place on Earth at least once a year, if possible. They are enjoying taking each of their now 10 grandchildren and hope to also take their great granddaughter in the near future. One of their favorite trips has been visiting Disney with adults only, including one trip when their son proposed to his girlfriend. Their philosophy on Disney Trips? “Each trip is completely different, like visiting Walt Disney World for the first time.”
