“Do you trust me?” (As Aladdin asked Jasmine before beginning one of the most famous rides in the history of Disney movies.) If so , then follow us over to Adventureland today, for a magic carpet ride through a “whole new world” – or at least right beside Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room and across from Jungle Cruise. There you and your family can channel your inner genie and enjoy a ride on The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
This magical attraction seems similar to Dumbo – but with an Adventureland feel. You’ll hop into your own flying carpet and take a ride high in the sky – or as far as the ride allows. While riding, you can take in the sights around the Adventureland bazaar and just imagine how Jasmine and Aladdin felt flying through the sky! (Extra points if you sing while you’re flying, er, riding.)

Each carpet holds 4 people. If you sit up front you can control how low or high you will fly – just use the on-board controls. If you choose to sit in the back, you can control how much your carpet tips frontward and backward with your on-board controls. I suggest if you ride with only 2 in your party, split up with one in front and one in back to get the full feel of the ride and really make it more exciting, as you circle around a giant genie bottle. Just be careful because off to one side is a bigger than life camel and we all know what camel’s do – they SPIT! He does this randomly, so you never know whether you’ll get “lucky” or not!
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is perfect for guests of all ages and heights. It is considered a slow moving ride, so little ones can really enjoy it and they can control how high you go or how much you dip forward and backward.

Debbie and her husband live in Chattanooga, TN. They both are huge Disney fans and try to visit the most Magical Place on Earth at least once a year, if possible. Their philosophy on Disney Trips? “Each trip is completely different, like visiting Walt Disney World for the first time.” They both enjoy all that Disney has to offer, but enjoy Animal Kingdom and EPCOT the most. It is their goal that everyone who visits Walt Disney World has a magical trip with lots of memories to last a life time.
