Stop by Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and you’ll find that this area is different from others you have been in at Walt Disney World. Here you find that you’re suddenly the same size as all of Andy’s toys. Best of all, you’ll also see that Andy has assembled his own roller coaster in his backyard just for Buzz, Woody and the gang – and you. Being the innovative kid Andy is, he pulled out all the stops to entertain everyone!
Slinky Dog himself is going to take you on a wild ride that is so much fun, it is for everyone, even the non-roller-coaster fans. This ride will go up and down the hills, with great vantage points to see all of Toy Story Land along the way! At one point, you will even stop – but look out, you’re not done yet as you suddenly spring back for another fast take off.
Waiting in line for Slinky Dog Dash, as is the case for most attraction queues at Walt Disney World, you’ll find so many fun and interesting details! As I looked around while we waited, I realized that the landscape had toys scattered throughout the ride area, giving us the feel of literally being in Andy’s backyard.
Can you spot all the toys Andy used on this ride? He even used the box from the original Coaster Playset! You will find a lot of familiar friends, er toys, from your childhood!

Debbie and her husband live in Chattanooga, TN. They both are huge Disney fans and try to visit the most Magical Place on Earth at least once a year, if possible. They are enjoying taking each of their now 10 grandchildren and hope to also take their great granddaughter in the near future. One of their favorite trips has been visiting Disney with adults only, including one trip when their son proposed to his girlfriend. Each trip begins with the planning, which can take up to a year, beginning with how to get the grandkids excited about their upcoming trip. They have surprised some of them the day before they left, while the latest one had “presents” every 10 days starting at 90 days all leading up to an exciting trip with her parents along also. Their philosophy on Disney Trips? “Each trip is completely different, like visiting Walt Disney World for the first time.” They both enjoy all that Disney has to offer, but enjoy Animal Kingdom and EPCOT the most. It is their goal that everyone who visits Walt Disney World has a magical trip with lots of memories to last a life time.
