One of the most sought after Character Dining experiences at Disney World is Chef Mickey’s located on the 4th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. With great food and fun character interactions, it’s no wonder it is a Disney World favorite!
Before you are seated, you will get to have your picture made with the statue of Chef Mickey as a keepsake. Chef Mickey’s Fun Time Buffet is a great way to fill everyone’s hungry tummies. The breakfast buffet includes pancakes, Mickey waffles (our favorite), eggs, bacon, a yummy cheesy potato casserole as well as seasonal fruits, yogurt, cereal and pastries. If you want to eat a little later in the day, brunch is a great alternative with BBQ ribs, ham, sausage, seafood etouffee, peel-n-eat shrimp, and a delicious Caesar salad just to name a few of the many items to choose from. For dinner, you can dine on roasted turkey breast, beef sirloin, baked salmon and pastas with plenty of luscious sides to go with your meal. You will want to save a little room for the sundae bar for dessert!
The best part of Chef Mickey’s is, of course, THE CHARACTERS! You will get to meet Chef Mickey himself, along with Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Goofy. They spend a nice amount of time at your table visiting with you and your little ones, signing autographs, taking pictures and just being their awesomely wonderful selves. Be sure and let your servers know if you celebrating a special occasion – we enjoyed delicious cupcakes for our anniversary!!
