If you are looking for delicious home-style comfort food, old fashioned décor theming and hysterical interactions with the waiters and waitresses…then you will definitely want to eat at 50’s Prime Time Café in Hollywood Studios!!
With black and white TV’s playing old sitcoms…such as Leave it to Beaver and My Three Sons…be sure and look around at all of the awesome décor…it will bring back many memories of your younger days!
The waiters and waitresses…better known as your Cousin, Uncle or Aunt…will make SURE that you behave yourself and mind your manners while at the dinner table while visiting with “Mom”! If you are caught on your cell phone or with your elbows on the table…be prepared to be called out…and they may even put you in the corner for misbehaving!!
The meal choices are many…such as Mom’s Old Fashioned Pot Roast, Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken, Grandma’s Chicken Pot Pie or Cousin Ann’s Traditional Meatloaf (my favorite)…and they are ALL delicious!! The desserts are yummy too…Dad’s Brownie Sundae or the 50’s Pineapple Upside Down Cake are two of our favorites!! And of course you can get milk shakes or coke floats to go along with your lunch or dinner!
Take it from one who learned her lesson…BE SURE AND EAT YOUR VEGETABLES!! Yep, I got called out and as you can see by the picture…Aunt Claire told me I’d better open wide!! Too funny!! So, next time you are hankering for a home cooked meal, be sure and make reservations at 50’s Prime Time Café…you’ll be glad you did!
Find out how the FREE services of a Disney World travel agent can make planning your Disney vacation simple and STRESS FREE!
As Julie says: “I am addicted to all things Disney! 🙂 I grew up in Vernon, TX and now reside in Waller, TX (outside of Houston) on a small ranch with my hubby and all of our animals who we affectionately call “The Zoo Crew”! We have been married almost a year now (together for 7) and have 5 children and 9 grandchildren between the 2 of us. We knew we were meant for each other when we discovered we were both Disney fanatics! 🙂 I went to Disneyland for the first time when I was 6 and fell in love with the magic of Disney. Now, my husband and I go to Disney World every 2 years either with friends or with whichever kid and grandkid are available to go at the time. We spend a lot of time planning our trips to ensure that everyone has the most memorable time while there, so that is what I will be writing about and hopefully give you some ideas to try for YOUR next Disney vacation. I am very excited to be a part of The Affordable Mouse team!”

I hope those veggies were green beans or spinach. I will NOT open my mouth for broccoli, asparagus, Brussells sprouts, artichokes, onions, peppers, or cauliflower. Similarly, I will not eat mushrooms (which aren’t veggies, but fungi). 🙂
