Whew! We just got back from a trip to Walt Disney World. I feel like I need a few days (or weeks) to catch back up to “reality.” Has anyone ever gotten back from a trip and found a hidden surprise in your luggage? I’ve been known to find streamers and confetti…
I like to save the little decorations that Disney likes to put on your table for special events, like Mickey ears confetti and streamers. The trick is keeping them safe for the journey home. The confetti fits really well in one of those small recloseable bags for medications. The streamers don’t quite fit in those bags but can fit into a purse or shoe bag. Just make sure you empty out the bag before you go back to the park the next day to avoid a messy bag check.
When I get home, I take the confetti and streamers to use as a decoration at home. I placed all mine in an empty votive candle holder. Every time we get another batch, I add it to the candle holder making a nice layer effect. It is truly bringing Disney home!
Thanks again for the invite to the trip, Affordable Mouse!
Have a Magical Day!!
