So last month, I was missing Walt Disney World and shared some tips on how to bring home the fall festival. I realized that I don’t need to go through all that work to bring the spirit home. In going through my Halloween shirts, I realized I celebrate Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party all month long!
I wear scrubs a lot to work so in order to bring some spirit to the elderly, I try to choose fun Scrub tops. Five out of my six Halloween scrub tops are Disney related- I have Mickey dressed up in costumes and even a Jack Skellington.
Now I do have to give credit to my mother-in-law who loves to pick up cute scrubs for me (Hint look at Walmart). Target also has a Tinkerbell shirt with a pumpkin and last year had a Donald Duck shirt who is dressed up as Mickey Mouse.
One of my co-workers decorated our door with one of those large plastic covers to give our department a Halloween spirit. Little did she know that every time I look at that door, I’m reminded of MNSSHP. It’s a large ghost that says, “Boo to you!” Those of you who have been to Disney World for MNSSHP know that “Boo to You” is the name of the parade and it’s very catchy song. (You can thank me later for getting that song in your head for the next few days!)
