On our most recent trip to Walt Disney World, I began to invest in new, slightly expensive, purchase(s) to bring my Disney habit home with me. No, I didn’t get the castle sitting in the window at Arribas’ Brothers on Main Street for the low price of $37,500. I started building my Pandora bracelet!
My wonderful husband bought me the Disney Parks special bracelet for a Christmas gift. What makes it unique is the clasp has the Disney Parks logo on it.
I’ve tried shopping online for the Disney Parks charms, but their selection is limited. But going to the shop on Main Street, they had a HUGE selection of charms. After talking to the Cast Member there, she said that the selection of charms online is surplus from what they have in-stock in the stores. Conveniently, we were actually at Magic Kingdom when the day the new charms were released so I was able to purchase the Cinderella Castle charm right away. Then I made a second trip to get the Sorcerer’s Hat because I knew I’d not be able to find it online for the original price. Ebay has it, but it’s been marked up $$.
I also found that there are some generic Disney charms that are much more cost effective as low as 5 charms for $20. They seem to be schemed sets aqua and seashell for Little Mermaid, etc.
I think the coolest aspect of the Pandora bracelet is the ability to customize it to showcase your personal preferences. And I’ve decided to personalize mine even more to encompass my other interests including racing.
After all, I do live in Indianapolis so nothing represents it better than the symbol of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Indianapolis 500 will be here before we know it!
Have a Magical Day!
