Happy Saturday Disney Friends! Where has the time gone? I can’t believe it’s nearly August…and before we know it, the kids will be back in school and we’ll be raking leaves. So let’s make the most of this last month of summer, heat and all. Relax a bit, spend quality time with family and friends, fire up that grill, and enjoy an ice cold beverage. Oh…and while you’re relaxing, check out some of my favorite Disney bloggers this week: everyone seemed to go into Disney information overdrive this week, spreading pixie dust all over the internet! Enjoy! 🙂
Gotta start with my friends at Chip and Company who (shhhhh) have actually visited “that Florida theme park who must not be named“. In Why YOU Should Cheat on Disney they tell us why we should too. Then, always loving that Disney food, we now know My Top 5 Disney World Snacks , Finally, a review of something that many of us may not have done…but if you’re curious as I am, you will want to check this out: Downtown Disney: Characters in Flight balloon ride
Disney Parks Blog shared Travelocity’s Top Reasons to Stay at a Walt Disney World Resort. And then in more food news, they showed us what is so fun about Challenging the Kitchen Sink Dessert at Walt Disney World
Are you planning on participating in one of Disney’s running events? Then don’t miss this helpful piece from the Disney Dispatch: Disney Dining Tips for Marathon Runners . On a lighter note, here’s a fun idea that you just might not have thought about doing: The Case for Calling Epcot’s UK Phone Booths
I just realized that several of my favorite posts this week are food related. 🙂 Here’s one from Disney Driven Life that discusses the joy of COOKING UP DISNEY-LOVIN’ KIDS
Magical Mouse Schoolhouse reviews my favorite Disney World experience: IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth
You may have visited with your baby to get his/her first haircut, but Meltdown Free Disney shows us how you can also Cheat The Florida Heat By Visiting The Harmony Barber Shop.
Lisa at WDW Fan Zone discusses my absolute favorite thing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Tree of Life. I also loved this piece about Planning for the Last Minute Disney Trip. As a far-ahead planner, I am in awe of those who have been able to do this!
Last but not least, I thought this article from Your Highway in the Sky would be very helpful for anyone with little one who are trying to figure out how to ride their favorite thrill rides: Traveling with Kids? Remember Child Swap!
That’s it for this week everyone! Make it a magical weekend!
