We had a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World last week, enjoying “old” favorites and discovering new ones. As we are less than a week until Christmas, I thought I’d share today a few of the fun and festive Holiday moments that we especially enjoyed!
Main Street USA is always festive during the Christmas season!
And you will find Christmas trees EVERYWHERE! Be sure to take the time to check out the decorations on each, it is so much fun to look at how the Imagineers make the tree work with the theme of that area!
A number of the rides and attractions have special holiday themes or surprises as well. For example, the Jungle Cruise becomes the “Jingle Cruise”.
Even “Living with the Land” gets in the Christmas spirit!
Epcot’s Festival of Holidays is a great place to explore, where you can enjoy holiday decorations, food and entertainment from all around the world!
The Candlelight Processional is always a “don’t miss” for us during the Christmas season. Moving and inspirational, it is a wonderful way to get in the Christmas spirit!
We love visiting the resorts for their holiday decorations as well. The giant gingerbread carousel at the Beach Club is a favorite of ours!
But nothing beats the spectacular beauty of Cinderella Castle, all decked out in icy lights. It is a truly breathtaking sight!
