Toy Story Mania is one of the most popular attractions on property and the Fastpasses are one of the most sought after in all of Disney World. So why wouldn’t you top off your day at Hollywood Studios with a visit to Pizza Planet?
Pizza Planet is a Quick Service (QS) restaurant located near the Muppet’s 3D attraction at Hollywood Studios. They serve pizza, meatball subs, and salad. That’s really about it; there are no burgers, hot dogs, or chicken sandwiches. It’s very simple and we think pretty well done. How can one mess up pizza, right?
The first time we went was for our son’s third birthday celebration. He is an avid lover of all three Toy Story movies and that is all he wanted to do was go to Pizza Planet. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the personal pizzas; the adult meals come with a generous portion of Caesar salad as well. The prices are decent, ranging from $7.99 for the antipasto s
alad to $10.69 for the meatlovers pizza. Pizza Planet is covered under the Disney Dining Plan as well. The dough is soft and tasty and it has just enough sauce for my liking.
The kid’s meals contain a slightly smaller, personal pizza and they have a choice of two sides; the last time we ate at Pizza Planet a chocolate chip cookie and raw carrots were the sides of choice. Kids also get to choose a drink with their meal.
There is plenty of seating, both indoors and out. Inside you will also find plenty of arcade games to enjoy before, during, or after your meal. You and your kids will feel like you have act
ually stepped inside that scene of Toy Story when Andy has gone with his mother and sister and Sid is there winning Buzz & Woody from the claw game. Our family has decided if there was a comment box at this location we would suggest having the claw game with the little aliens as prizes.
