I have always been a skeptic of the Disney Dining Plan that is offered to resort guests. My wife and I don’t have children so when we go to the parks we don’t “need” to eat on a schedule. We would always pack food to eat in the room for breakfast and if we got hungry during the day we would stop. One thing you have to leave with after your magical trip to Walt Disney World is a souvenir. Shopping experiences are plentiful at the parks, resorts and Downtown Disney.
Each park has shops scattered throughout to represent the world or country you are in. At the Magic Kingdom, you’ll find everything from Agrabah Bazaar in Adventureland, selling Aladdin type clothing and toys with other Arabian themed items to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square that sells gifts, toys and ornaments all year round. We often stop at the sleigh beside the shop and have a family photo made to put on our Christmas cards, even in the middle of summer. Read more

Being a chef I am a huge fan of food trucks. These restaurants on wheels give young chefs a chance to branch out and be creative without being tied down to one location.
