Friends, we are less than 50 days away from enjoying our next adventure at our favorite vacation destination – the Walt Disney World Resort! I get too excited myself to ever keep Disney trips a secret from my kids (although this is a Disney bucket list goal that I have…someday) so we just enjoy counting down the days. At the 180 day mark, we make our dining reservations and that’s when things start to get serious for us. By 60 days, we know which park we will be in on which day and make our FastPass+ reservations online bright and early at 7 am. This time, I got everything we wanted. We are really excited to check out everything new at Animal Kingdom and feeling a little sad that The Great Movie Ride at Hollywood Studios will be closed by the time we arrive. Read more

Terrific Tuesdays: Taking Grandchildren to Walt Disney World
I started something years ago and after several years between, was able to continue last year – taking grandchildren on a trip to Walt Disney World. While it wasn’t a surprise for the older 12 year old, it was for the 4 year old! She honestly wasn’t sure about it! We had surprised them, but looking back, I think a little “leading-up-to-preparation-for-her” would have helped prepare her for what to expect. Read more
