Exploring Disney: Taking a Spin with the Aliens

Last week we recounted my epic ride on the mythical Slinky Dog. Today we’re going back to Toy Story Land, but with something otherworldly in mind. Tucked in the back corner, near the adorably-themed restrooms and a nice open area where we witnessed the Army Men going through a drum practice and a bit of boot camp, is a ride I didn’t know what to think about when I first heard about it. Could it be like Mad Tea Party just with saucers instead of teacups? Could it be like the Scrambler, for those Virginians who know what I’m talking about? Could it be a new version of a hoverboard-type ride a la Luigi? I didn’t know.

I have a piece of advice that always results in a confused look when talking to friends about their Disney vacation plans. When they say “but it’s so expensive,” I ask them how long they’re staying. I often end up suggesting that they stay longer in order to get a better deal.

If there is one thing you will find an abundance of at Walt Disney World, it is souvenirs! Exploring Disney: Happy HalloWishes!!

There’s nothing like Halloween at Disney World. I love Halloween no matter where I am, but there’s something extra special about this time of year in the Most Magical Place on Earth.
