Disney Fun From Around the World: Week of June 7, 2010

Well, it’s time to travel around Disney’s world of blogging to check out some of my favorite blog posts this past week. As always, it’s hard to choose! In no particular order, here are a few that I thought you might find helpful:

The Disney Food Blog had some great suggestions for The Five Best Uses for Disney Dining Plan Snack Credits

I thought this post from the ladies at Traveling Mamas was especially helpful if you are wondering how to make better use of your Blackberry on vacation this year: Best Travel Apps for BlackBerry

And of course the friendly folks at Chip and Co. as always, have LOTS of fantastic Disney information!

Helpful Hints for First Timers from our Facebook Family shared lots of great tips that came directly from their Facebook Fan Page.

In addition, Chris at Chip and Co. provided information on a little known…but very special…opportunity that many people like to take advantage of when at the Magic Kingdom: Ask a Disney Question: Getting a Haircut at Disney World.

Disney Fun From Around the World: Week of May 31, 2010

My favorite post of the week: A collection of the blog posts around the Disney “world” that were the most interesting and/or fun for me this week. I hope you enjoy them as well!

Meltdown Free Disney always has an interesting perspective on traveling to Disney World. This week she discusses why you may find that your two-year-old is the “perfect age” for Disney: From Terrible Twos To Terrific Time To Go.

If you have a Disney World vacation planned for summer or the fall, then you will want to read this article from the Orlando Sentinel The Daily Disney and learn How will a possible hurricane affect your Disney visit?

The Disney Driven Life discusses this week what it is like to visit DISNEY WITH A TEEN AND TWEEN (hint: It’s a little different from what you are used to with little ones!)

I absolutely loved this post from The Resourceful Mommy about what is wonderful in each of The Four Seasons of Disney

The Disney Food Blog shares thoughts on one of the more interesting restaurants in World Showcase in her Restaurant Marrakesh Review

As usual, Chip and Co. had tons of great articles this week. Two that I thought would be especially helpful for you were this discussion of the Top Eats – Magic Kingdom Casual Dining Restaurants and You CAN do the Disney Parks with an infant!

Disney Fun From Around the World: Week of May 24, 2010

One of my favorite posts to do each week is this one, where I have the chance to share some of the fantastic blog posts that I come across each week in the Disney “world”. In no particular order, here are a few that caught my eye this past week:

Once again, we were thrilled to be a part of the Disney Blog Carnival #4. Be sure to check it out to see lots of great Disney blogs!

The Disney Food Blog provided a couple of interesting posts this week. In 5 Best Quick-Service Dining Plan Values AJ discusses some favorite Quick Service places to eat. And she also lets us know about all of the Changes to Disney World’s Online Dining Reservation System

Over at Chip and Co. Chris had a very helpful post: Ask a Disney Question: Resort Options and Park Hoppers for Children with Autism? and also provided some great advice for saving quite a bit of money on accommodations in Ask a Disney Question: How do I get a pin code?

Our friends at The Disney Driven Life provided some interesting DISNEY COASTER NEWS

Since Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer, I especially loved this post from the The Disney Blog about an important summer food: Top Five Places to Enjoy Ice Cream at Walt Disney World

As a family without young children, I could relate to this post from the Disney College Blog where she discusses Character Meet and Greets: Can You Be Too Old? (For the record, no I don’t think you can! 🙂 )

Disney Fun From Around the World: Week of May 17, 2010

I enjoyed reading some great Disney blogs this past week. It’s always so hard for me to choose my favorites 12236130441082257790shokunin_icon_with_globe_svg_medto share with you each Saturday…but if I must, I must. 🙂

Here are a few of the ones that I thought were especially cool:

Chip and Co. always has great blog posts. Two that I especially enjoyed were Disney Food Confession – Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Milkshake (doesn’t that sound yummy?) and this one from Chris: Top Eats: Top Five Character Meals which will be very helpful when trying to book your next character meal!

Disney Food Blog provided another food-related post, that will be so helpful in planning your Advanced Dining Reservations:5 Best “One-Credit” Disney Dining Values

The official Disney Parks Blog reminded us about some of the “lesser-known” attractions all around the parks: The “Characters” of Main Street, U.S.A.

Disney College Blog shared her Favorite Rides: Harder than It Looks

Will you have some time without your kids at Disney World? Be sure to read this great post from Walt Disney World: It’s Not Just for Kids to learn about great Activities for an adult couple with ONE kidless day
