An Out of the World Summer: Disneyland Paris
Editor’s note: I’m thrilled to introduce a new series today, on another wonderful piece of Disney that many/most of us may have never been privileged to visit: Disneyland Paris. Thanks to Tina (lucky girl!!), we will have the benefit of hearing all about what it is like to visit a Disney park in another country, and learn as well, of course, how to do it as affordably as possible. So if you have plans to visit Disneyland Paris….or simply are dreaming about it, follow along with Tina this summer and learn along with the rest of us! 🙂
I love Paris! I have been twice, once in 2003 and then again in 2008. I also, of course, am in love with all things Disney! So what could be BETTER than Disney IN Paris? I’m not sure there is anything better! There are people out there that say, “Why waste a day of Paris in Disneyland,” but those people aren’t crazy about Disney, like us, so we just ignore them 😉
This summer, my husband and I are taking an-almost-2-week trip to Europe. Being the Disney fan I am, I have to try out “Euro Disney” this time around! I am happy to share how we are doing this, and all the logistics that go along with planning a (and hopefully saving some $) trip to Disneyland Paris . Read more
Thrifty Thursday: Saving More at Disney Than Money
There are plenty of ways to save while in Walt Disney World! How about saving time and maybe some energy? I want to talk about saving you some time, not to mention a little energy, while in WDW. Read more
Thrifty Thursday: Picture Perfect with Disney
Editor’s Note: I am pleased to introduce you to Tina who is joining us on The Affordable Mouse! Tina will be sharing the Thrifty Thursday column with Melissa Sue and is looking forward to sharing her tips for saving time and money at Disney World. We are thrilled to welcome Tina to our family! 🙂
One of my favorite souvenirs from our trips to Disney is my photos! There is nothing like having a great collection of pictures that remind us of how fun and special our trip was.
I always grab a Photo Pass from one of the many professional photographers stationed at the front of every park, and usually at key spots. Here is a list of places you can find them. You just need one pass for the whole trip (if you have a big party than you may want to get two.) To be honest, I don’t think that Disney’s professional pictures are a superb deal…it’s a whopping $149.95 for your professional memories on CD. You can order this online when you get home. One good thing about these pricey photos is that photographers can do really cool things with them like put Tinker Bell in your little ones’ hands or Mickey balloons behind your family, fun stuff! Only buy the CD if you think it’s worth it, some people say you can’t put a price on good memories! You can save money by pre-ordering your Disney Photo Pass CD before your trip; it’s a better deal for $99.95. Read more
