I never turn down an opportunity to visit Walt Disney World if it is at all possible.  Because of that I have been fortunate to visit with a variety of friends and family members, including both of my kids and all 4 of my grandchildren.  However, one of my favorite trips was a family reunion with my grandmother, my parents, my son, my step-children and their children, my brother in law and his family and well you get the idea!  This trip happened about 15 years ago and although most of the people in the group I no longer have daily contact with, it is still one of my all time favorite trips that will never be duplicated. Disney Gift Giving: Debbie’s Wish List

With the holidays around the corner, we at The Affordable Mouse, of course, have a few Disney things on our Christmas wish lists….and we thought it might be fun to share what we’re wishing for with you! Hope you enjoy….and maybe get some good ideas for your lists! 🙂

It’s that time of year when you start thinking about that perfect gift.  It will be either the perfect gift for a special loved one or perhaps something perfect that you are hoping to receive.  While we all wish we could hop a plane or in the car for a quick trip to holiday shop at Walt Disney World, sometimes that is not practical.  After the closure of the Disney Stores in many major cities, like it did here in Chattanooga, I can’t just run over the mall to see the latest Disney has to offer either.  Thanks to the internet, it is so much easier to find those Disney gifts everyone wants without the trip expense. My Favorite Disney Memory by Debbie

Welcome to our special Disney Memories Week and Giveaway”! This week, while I’m on vacation, we are celebrating Disney’s year long “Let the Memories Begin” theme: each day, one of our great writers will share a favorite Disney memory….and will provide you with a chance to win a $50 Disney gift card. From now until Sunday July 10, you will have up to 2 chances to enter each day by commenting on the blog post and/or our Facebook page.  The more days/times you comment, the more chances you have to win. (But please, to be fair to everyone: only ONE blog entry and ONE Facebook entry per person per day…)

Please note: ONE winner will be selected from all who enter by midnight ET, on Sunday, July 10. Good luck….and Let the Memories Begin!

When thinking about Walt Disney World and the one favorite memory of mine, my mind just keeps running through the many trips I have taken.  WDW is my favorite memory!  But if I must narrow it down to just one special memory that sticks out in my mind, I would have to say it’s the trip hubby and I made to the Food & Wine Festival in 2008.  It was my new husband’s first trip around the World.
