Thrifty Thursday: Quick Service at Sunshine Seasons

One of the best places to find a great variety of options for quick service meals is Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. Located in Future World on the lower level of “The Land”, here you will find a number of places to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

Each section has their own cuisine, so you can find Asian, gourmet, soups & sandwiches and wood-fired meals in addition to a garb-n-go section for even quicker meals. Special diet options are available such as gluten free, Kosher and vegetarian. And of course, it wouldn’t be Disney without desserts. The produce served and used throughout all the stations is from The Land’s very own greenhouse, which makes it even better.

This is a large area and so there is a lot of seating, which is divided into colored areas that represent each of the 4 seasons. While this is a great place for everyone to get exactly what they want, this is not where to go for a nice, quiet meal. But for the price, you cannot go wrong. The portions are large enough to share, especially between young ones.

We really enjoy the ambiance of the area with the rising balloons above you, which gives the area a more quaint feeling since it is open to the 2nd level. It is very colorful and bright, so you don’t even realize you are below ground. Before or after your meal, check out Living with the Land to see the produce used in your meals.

Not only is this a great place for lunch or dinner, this is one of the few places in the parks where you can find breakfast items. Here they have breakfast paninis, muffins, croissants, fruit, danish, bagels and french toast. Prices are quite reasonable ranging from $2 for whole fruit to a panini meal for just under $8.00. This is a great place to start your morning after rope drop in Epcot!
