Thrifty Thursday: Epcot’s Sunshine Seasons

DSCN0202A great place to find a variety for meals is Sunshine Seasons. Located in Future World on the lower level of “The Land”, you will find several places to appeal to even the pickiest of eaters. Each station has their own cuisine, so you can find Asian, gourmet, soups & sandwiches and wood-fired meals in addition to a garb-n-go section for even quicker meals. The produce served and used throughout all the stations is from The Land’s very own greenhouse.

There is a lot of seating divided into colored areas that represent each of the 4 seasons. While this is a great place for everyone to get exactly what they want, quiet is not what you find here. But for the price – you cannot go wrong. The portions are large enough to share, especially between young ones. This is will remind you of a food court in the local mall, but with much more appealing and healthier options. Special diet options are available such as gluten free, Kosher and vegetarian.

We really enjoy the ambiance of the area with the rising balloons above you, which gives the area a more quaint feeling since it is open to the 2nd level. It is very colorful and bright, so you don’t even realize you are below ground. Before or after your meal, check out Living with the Land to see the produce used in your meals.

Not only is this a great place for lunch or maybe even dinner, this is one of the few places you can find for breakfast in Future World. Here they have breakfast paninis, muffins, croissants, fruit, danish, bagels and french toast. Prices are quite reasonable ranging from $2 for whole fruit to a panini meal for just under $8.00. This is a great place to start your morning after rope drop in Epcot!
