I think it is every little girl’s dream to have her own “Prince Charming” get down on one knee and propose in front of the most romantic place in the Happiest Place on Earth! This is what fairy tales are made of! My son was a Prince Charming when he proposed 1-1/2 years ago and I still get tears thinking about that. Since then, a friend of mine proposed to his Cinderella last December and another friend had a son do exactly the same thing earlier this year.
Cinderella Castle is known also for the great shows that are performed on the castle stage, but did you know there is more to the castle than you see when you first walk down Main Street? Although you can’t tour throughout Cinderellas Castle, you can walk through from front to back (when there are no shows going on.) Here you will find the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the entrance to Cinderella’s Royal Table restaurant.
Also inside the castle, where most people never look you will find (5) mosaic murals depicting the tale of the castle’s namesake! We actually spent a little time looking at the murals and getting a few pictures. The 5 handcrafted mosaics contain actual glass pieces along with silver and gold accentuating the mosaic tiles. I am guessing over a million pieces went into making these huge murals. They say there is a hidden Mickey in one of them, but I am yet to find it!
Have you spent anytime exploring the murals? Did you find the hidden Mickey?
