Have you ever wondered what it was like to be on board a spaceship shooting to the stars and beyond? You have your chance when you experience Mission: SPACE in Epcot. This super cool and fun attractions has two versions – Mission Orange and Mission Green – so that those with of us with weaker stomachs can still experience what it’s like to blast off into space.
The most important question to decide when faced with Mission Space at Epcot’s Future World at Walt Disney World, is not whether to ride or not. I’m continuing my itinerary tips series with Epcot! Itineraries at Epcot are a little different because you have two distinct areas to visit: Future World and World Showcase. Future World is more ride-heavy whereas World Showcase is more suited for wandering. World Showcase also doesn’t open until 11am, so I like to use the morning to hit the Future World rides and then spend the rest of the day at World Showcase. Read more

As you walk through the gates of Epcot, you enter the Future World. The first attraction encountered is the giant sphere that houses Spaceship Earth. Here you’ll take a ride through the centuries and learn about the history of communication. You will also create your own future with the touch screen computer located in your “car”. Following the ride, there is an interactive post show where visitors can play virtual reality games and even send your trip to the future via email post card home to friends and family. Read more
