This year’s festival is now in full swing and Disney, as usual, has tons of great events and workshops related to all things food and drink, and of course delicious items to try from around the world! Each fall, the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival brings outdoor marketplaces to World Showcase serving small plates and drinks from around the world. The festival also features premium events such as cooking demonstrations and food and wine pairings. The Food and Wine Festival marketplaces are open daily throughout the festival. Access to these marketplaces to purchase food and drinks and access to some events or demonstrations is included in regular park admission (most premium events charge a separate fee).

We visited the 20th annual Food & Wine Festival this past week. Going toward the end seemed to be a great time to go; the weather was perfect and the crowds appeared to be down with the exception of 1 night. It has been several years since we last visited and we were very impressed this year with the quality of food. When choosing a favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World, one event to consider is the Food & Wine Festival that runs from late September to mid November. This is my all-time favorite time to go for an all adult trip. Being the more adventurous eater, that I am, I find the festival great for sampling all those foods that I normally don’t get at home. My husband being the not-so-adventurous eater that he is actually finds the Food and Wine Festival a great place to try some things that he may or may not like, but doesn’t have to dish out the expense of a full meal just to try a bite.
