Using the Disability Access Service and FastPass Plus

 We just returned from an eventful trip to Walt Disney World using all sorts of new technology/systems and lucky for you I’m here to report on it.  My husband and I traveled with my mother-in-law and multiple disabilities special needs brother-in-law to Animal Kingdom Lodge- Kidani Village.   Honestly, we were not thrilled to find out that they were changing the Guest Assistance Program, AND that we were to be testing the Fastpass + system on our trip, but it actually worked out for us!  Read more

Magical Accommodations: Disability Access Service Card

 

Happy November everyone!

The holidays are quickly approaching and that means magical holiday fun at the Disney parks! If you are traveling to the parks this holiday season with a loved one with disabilities, it may be beneficial to know about the changes Disney has made to their assistance program.

The Guest Assistance Card (GAC) program Disney once offered has been updated to the new Disability Access Service (DAS) Card. The Disability Access Service Card program became effective on October 9th, 2013. Read more
