My Thoughts About Disney Vacation Club Are at Chip and Co. This Week

Have you ever wondered about all the talk about Disney Vacation Club? And have you especially wondered if buying into Disney’s timeshare could be an investment that might actually be a savings to you in the long run?

My family wondered about those things for quite some time. Finally, we did some research, discussed the pros and cons of DVC, talked to a number of owners…and then sat down with a calculator to see if it might just be an affordable Disney vacation choice for us.

I talk about how we did this…and the results…over at Chip and Co. this week. Stroll on over and read about our experiences…and then be sure to let me know your thoughts about DVC. Might this be an affordable option for you?

You can read the article right here: Could the Disney Vacation Club be Right for Your Family?

I look forward to seeing you over there! 🙂

I own 1650 Vacation Club points and have been an owner since 1994. I’ve always loved our family vacations, especially the disney cruises. The last couple of years, however, have seen the Vacation Club become very commercialized. Many new rules regarding th euse of your points and very underhanded actions. The latest? All of a suddne if you try to book a cruise with your points, you are told that all cruises for all boats and all itineraries are sold out until October 2011. Was just on a Disney cruise and was told by the DVC employees that this is bull and that Disney really just wants to push for the cash customer. When you call DVC to book the cruise the reps says all boats are full – without even checking. Very disappointing and un-Mickey like. Thinking of selling my points.
