Disney World Deliciousness: ‘Ohana

One of the most popular Walt Disney World Character Dining restaurants is ‘Ohana, which is located on the second floor of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.  Serving breakfast and dinner, you will enjoy delicious food and great character Meet and Greets in a beautiful Polynesian setting overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon.  You can even see Cinderella Castle from some table areas in the restaurant!

On our last visit to Walt Disney World, we made breakfast reservations there on our final day for a memorable way to end our magical vacation. After checking in at the reservation desk, we were given a buzzer and waited our turn in the comfy seating area overlooking the amazing lobby of the Poly.  We didn’t have to wait long at all and then it was our turn to enjoy the fun at Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch!!  Our yummy breakfast was served family style, with a delicious assortment of american food with a polynesian flare.  While dining on scrambled eggs, hawaiian pork sausages, bacon, island-style potatoes, Mickey waffles and other assorted breads and fresh fruit, we eagerly awaited the character visits to our table.  First came Pluto, then Mickey Mouse, next came Lilo and finally Stitch; they were all SO much fun!!  We got some great pics with them with our phones, then the Disney photographers came around and took our pic with Stitch…who is adorable by the way!!

I highly recommend putting ‘Ohana on your “places to dine” list and be sure and make those reservations at your 180 day mark!!  Remember: ‘Ohana means Family, and Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten!!

Until next time…Stay Disney Everyone!!

As Julie says: “I am addicted to all things Disney! 🙂 I grew up in Vernon, TX and now reside in Waller, TX (outside of Houston) on a small ranch with my hubby and all of our animals who we affectionately call “The Zoo Crew”! We have been married almost a year now (together for 7) and have 5 children and 9 grandchildren between the 2 of us. We knew we were meant for each other when we discovered we were both Disney fanatics! 🙂 I went to Disneyland for the first time when I was 6 and fell in love with the magic of Disney. Now, my husband and I go to Disney World every 2 years either with friends or with whichever kid and grandkid are available to go at the time. We spend a lot of time planning our trips to ensure that everyone has the most memorable time while there, so that is what I will be writing about and hopefully give you some ideas to try for YOUR next Disney vacation. I am very excited to be a part of The Affordable Mouse team!”
