AHOY THERE MATEYS…next time you are at Hollywood Studios, and you get a hankering for a delicious turkey leg…stop in at Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner located by Echo Lake for a special treat! It is my hubby’s favorite quick service location.

Open for lunch and dinner…Min and Bill’s menu isn’t big, but the taste is!!  The diner is aptly named “S.S. Down the Hatch” and is adorably shaped like a ship and the theme is based on the 1930’s comedy, Min and Bill.  With a small outside eating area, you can dine under a canopied picnic table and enjoy not only turkey legs, but hot dogs wrapped in a pretzel roll (my favorite), foot long chili cheese dogs, macaroni and cheese with pulled pork and even a delicious vegetarian wrap. Kiddos can enjoy a yummy turkey sandwich with carrots, a cookie and apple juice to drink served in a souvenir Han Solo Bucket!!

Drinks include a seasonal milkshake, your favorite fountain drinks, lemonade, coffee, tea and water. They even offer alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine and a frozen “adult” lemonade.  It’s a great place to take a break, rest your feet, enjoy great food and drink…and you may even see some of Donald Duck’s cousins walking around…Quack Quack!!

The Disney Dining Plan is accepted as well. Enjoy!!

As Julie says: “I am addicted to all things Disney! 🙂 I grew up in Vernon, TX and now reside in Waller, TX (outside of Houston) on a small ranch with my hubby and all of our animals who we affectionately call “The Zoo Crew”! We have been married almost a year now (together for 7) and have 5 children and 9 grandchildren between the 2 of us. We knew we were meant for each other when we discovered we were both Disney fanatics! 🙂 I went to Disneyland for the first time when I was 6 and fell in love with the magic of Disney. Now, my husband and I go to Disney World every 2 years either with friends or with whichever kid and grandkid are available to go at the time. We spend a lot of time planning our trips to ensure that everyone has the most memorable time while there, so that is what I will be writing about and hopefully give you some ideas to try for YOUR next Disney vacation. I am very excited to be a part of The Affordable Mouse team!”

I like hot dogs inside pretzel rolls, too, but I don’t have to travel all the way to Orlando to get them: they’re available at the local Auntie Anne’s pretzel shop at the local malls. I know what you’re going to tell me: there’s nothing like going to Disney to get these hot dogs in pretzels! I concur, but why go all the way to Orlando when they’re available a few minutes away at the malls?
