Dining at Disney World: Columbia Harbour House

If you’re looking for a great out of the way place to eat in Magic Kingdom, look no further than Columbia Harbour House. Located on the outer edge of Liberty Square, this early American themed counter service restaurant has chicken and seafood selections. In addition, they also have salads, soups and a Lighthouse Sandwich which is humus with tomato & broccoli slaw on multigrain bread.

I enjoy Columbia Harbour House, which offers fresher options over hamburgers. I’m a fish lover, so this is a perfect option for me in Magic Kingdom. Columbia Harbour House has grilled salmon, white tuna sandwich, fried shrimp and a lobster roll, which was featured at the American Pavilion several years ago at the Food & Wine Festival. The soups available are chili and New England clam chowder. Steamed fresh broccoli is also available a la carte.

As with other eateries in Magic Kingdom drinks include Coke products, water, coffee, whole or chocolate mile, orange juice, hot tea and hot cocoa. Adult beverages are not available at Columbia Harbour House as with most restaurants in Magic Kingdom. A child’s menu is also available, which includes tuna sandwich, chicken nuggets, macaroni & cheese and of course the old stand-by; peanut butter and jelly.

Another appealing feature is the 2nd floor seating area, which is quieter than downstairs and perfect for people watching. I’ve spent many lunch breaks enjoying a bird’s eye view of Liberty Square and The Haunted Mansion.

Restrooms are available on the 1st level and are a little small, but a larger park size restroom is right outside of the restaurant to the right as you head toward Peter Pan and It’s a Small World.

Be sure and stop in the next time you visit Magic Kingdom.
